WING/BADGES ARE ALL GONE

I am so happy now. My QSM is looking way better without the wing. Also happy now that all the badges on the car are gone. Way cleaner look. What do you guys think?

What is the best compound to remove any kind of sticky residue left from the badge adhesives?

I have the silver/black thing going on with my QSM, I got rims that are black with machined face. So black and silvers badges=cool for my car. Those in black and yellow would be bad azzzzz too.

Heat and WD40

I agree with everyone, looks good but keep the Pontiac arrowhead.

I like the arrow shaved off, personally. Mine has no badges save for a discrete 'Supercharged' badge:

...OK, so there's a crap-ton of stickers on the car in that pic.

they make this stuff (spray) called "Lift Off" which works great and doesn't hurt the paint...only bad thing is it makes it feel squeaky when you rub the rag over it, lol.

you can also try isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, which works; just not as good as lift off.

Only for the Rally. Rallies. Usually, the only stickers the car wears are the little 'RMGTO.com' stickers on the rear quarter windows.

i have had these on mine (and one on the front) for about 2 years now. they get compliments all the time even though they aren't curved at all, which makes the front fitment kind of shoddy. they have also faded a bit since new. i'm going to hit up my tint/vinyl guy to see if he can make an overlay with that graphic on it. but they are fone for now; much better than faded orange arrowheads.

I'll be damned, dude, but my car doesn't usually get a whole lot of attention. But as soon as I drove it around with the stickers on it, heads were turning like they were on swivels.

Even in Vegas, where you'd think a sight like that would be a daily thing.

LOL, that's funny...guess people must be thinking why is a race car on the street (with the stickers) vs. oh just another loud cavalier or G6 (w/o), lol. Just goes to show about packaging and how they got away with pushing all this chinese junk our way (just so long as it "looks" like something, rather than being something of substance [not saying this about your car btw, but think you get what I mean]).

There is a hole in the back side of badge. Took drill bit little farther than the hole was drilled already. Then use a small pick and pushed the red or black in my caes peice out. It has the same gunk holding it on. Once it cleared the side i used a razor to cut it. I then took all adhesive off, all silver lining and finally the orange (red faded) color off. I painted the back side. Looked good but decided to also paint the outside.

Actaully they make a tool at local parts stores called a stripe removal wheel, made by 3M and goes on a drill. Like a big eraser honestly, as long as you dont have a drill going faster than the recommended rpms and keep it moving it will not damage the paint. Ive done this many many times and will never use another way to remove residue from molding or to take stripes off...if that helps anyone. Also think it was like $30 make sure it comes with the piece that goes in the drill youll need it...

I just bought some inlays for the Pontiac emblems from GrafxWerks. Are the Pontiac logos easy to remove from the vehicle? My GTO is in storage so it's not exactly convenient for me to go check on how to remove them at the moment....
