Manchester, TN. Don't have one yet but am going to look at one this weekend. Hopefully we can make a deal. Been driving a 2003 VW Golf TDI for the past few years. Time for some real horsepower!!
Good luck on the GTO. If you're looking at one this weekend, here's some things to check for:
Check the carpet in the floor boards for dampness. They sometimes leak if the vapor barrier on the inside of the door is not installed correctly. Not a bad problem and usually not hard to fix.
Check the tie rod ends. The originals were a little weak and tend to wear out. Pedders replacements take care of the problem. Not expensive.
Check for a clunck on slow speed bumps. The original strut mounts/bearings wear out quick on some. A little more expensive to fix due to labor, but not bad.
All of these are common problems. None are bad to repair, but it might get you a better price if you know to look for them. I had all these happen to my 04 within 60k miles, but I love the car and plan to keep it forever.

The Tennessee crowd has gone silent. We need a get together in Nashville or Clarksville to liven things up. This used to be the most frequented thread in the southeast section.
So has the N Al thread. Seems like everyone has moved on now.
Would be nice to do a big N Al TN gtg with everyone attending.

I sure hope so. Right now I think I will be but that may change. I plan on running every event this year. With all of the suspension work that I have done to the car it ought to run decent at the autocross.
Im up for a meet.... also is there any performance difference between the 4l60e transmissions in the trucks and camaros compared to the one in the gtos? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you ahead of time
