Sh*t... That midget prolly has to scoot the seat forward in those tiny gokarts.

Someone should totally bring a booster seat for him. Or 2x4 blocks to tape to his feet...

Hell... Who am I kidding?!?!?!? He probably won't even be there.

haha! Seniors Citizens UNITE, lets all go to Lubys and get our discount

btw, thinking of going to Heartland (or somewhere) Sunday (are they open?) and throwing some lead down range. The Sig and 1911 are thinking I don't love them anymore!!! That is if I don't shake too much and can see the target.

Lubys is for hippies. I want some Kettle breakfast.

They are open but get there early, they get packed in a hurry on the weekends. Tuesday and Wednesday nights are the slowest usually. Also don't plan on buying anything there, the prices are nuts.

I just sent off my application to the OKC gun club, hopefully I will be able to get in there soon.

Thanks for heads up. Hopefully I'll roll out of bed early and get there before it gets seriously crowded. Us old folk like to meet up at McD's for coffee first thing in the morning anyways.

Got a link for the OKC Gun Club? I have also been thinking about trying my hand at sporting clays or just getting back into shooting a shot gun. I can't hit shit right now but well, that probably just means I need to buy a nice overunder!

Its out on the other side of I35 north of Arcadia.

My wife said she wants to learn to shoot skeet and pigeons, neither of us have ever done it. Time to buy a shotgun!

I went by Academy on NW Expressway at 8:15, they open at 8, and the place had almost nobody in it. Because they had already sold out of the whole shipment! The guy said it filled their shelves but they had 30 people waiting when they opened.

ha, I was in that Academy last night after work and wondered what the gun department looked like. Holly shit, there was like no hangun ammo. Vacant...

Goofy ass people. I don't think 9mm "bullets" are going to become illegal. But oh well, tell that to the hoarders and anyone who reads FB. Because if it’s on the interwebz it has to be true. (now the ability to by an AR-15 6 months for now...well I won't argue that possiblity)

I see where Heartland doesn't open till 1 on Sunday. Hum... that's the only day I have free and I'm not sure I wanna wait 60-90 mins I bet for a shooting lane.

Holly Molly poke, you need more Tacti-cool on that!

In 9mm I bet that feels like shooting a pelet gun. How's the accuracy out to 100yrds? You're gonna have to let me try that rig some day. Looks fun as all get out! (and a LOT let $$$ to shoot!)

Oh, and nice fireplace. Got a bear skin rug there too? *cue 70's funk guitar....

Akshewlly Dave, it's a little dedicated .22LR so it kicks about like a gnats fart. I haven't got to shoot it outside, only indoors, so about 30yds is the furthest I've shot it. It should be pretty damned accurate out to about 75yds once I get the scope sighted back in, it's only a 4x32 (supposed CQB scope).

Again, we need to go shooting sometime... If you're lucky, I'll whip off my shirt and show you my bear skin rug.

Ah... yeah, .22LR does make more sense. And yeah, that is a gnat fart I suppose! But now we are talking like *Free* to shoot as for ammo, lol (well... I don't even know if you can buy .22 these days). Super fun to just waste rds with that I bet and once sighted in should do well out to 100yrds I'd guess.

Well, I guess I need to "get rid" of a few .45 & maybe some .38 spcl bullets. What the hey, I suppose I'll sit in line and shoot some at Heartlands when they open up today

Yeah .22 is still probably the most popular caliber of round because of how inexpensive it is.

Only 4-7 pennies per round to shoot!!!

Lotsa "trainer" type guns use .22. There's a number of little dedicated .22 ARs and lots of 1911's that are .22 pistols.

I've thought about buying a little .22 pistol. Sooners wife's little .22 Sig Mosquito is pretty damned accurate... Especially when its in her hands! Fun little gun to shoot, the trigger pull is the only thing I don't like about it.

Did you end up going to Heartland? How busy was it?

I've seen .22 1911's but never shot one. Now I have a little ducey-duce as well but its a Ruger single action. But when you put in the .22 Mag reel, it becomes more interesting to shoot, and yeah it's pretty damn accurate with that 6in barrel.

I was at Heartlands about five mins before they opened and there was a line of people waiting outside to shoot! Luckily I got on a lane as a bunch of people ahead of me were all sharing lanes. Lots of people waiting when I left. Burned up about 100rds of .45 and 50 of 38 spcl. .... Boy its been about two months at least since I shot and it looked like it! Not grouping as tight as I could. But had a "blast"

Btw, sitting in the truck outside talking on the phone when I saw a spoilerless QSM head by going south at about 2:30ish.

that spoilerless QSM was likely me. i was headed that way around that time.
had to take the goaty up to MO, then drive back this morning.

700 mile round trip, and i couldnt find one person to toy with on the highway. oh well.
on the way back she popped up a "service engine oil" message. and now it does it
everytime i start it. oil level is fine, and not even that old. time to do some detective
work

:edit: that didnt take long to figure out haha

Where'd ya go up in Missouri? I'm from the St. Louis area so it's a little more round trip and the goat has done it at least 10 times haha. Maybe that's a main reason it's at 103,XXX miles

I've also had multiple freak outs with that warning, especially when the wife has the car
