This is gonna be fun! Ironman, when I got my GTO, my oldest son was 10 or 11. Now he's 19, and will probably be with me. ROK and the others can tell you he grew up on this forum. Drives a stick like a pro.

Actually, we have 6 cars in the driveway, 4 of them manual.

I said this in a previous post and will say it again. We need a legit car club in the area. I was part of something similar when I was big into the bike thing.

Really stoked to meet other cats into the GTO thing.

This may sound daft but I assue when you go in you just tell the scantily clad young lady that you are there for the GTO meet? Or is there some secret password like "Liams nipples talk to me night"

As far as headers, I'm sure someone will come in and talk more about short headers verses Long Tubes and the reasoning behind them. If you plan on going to Mongillo's, call ED and talk with him. He'll answer any questions you have, plus you can talk about the dyno and what he can do for you.

Good luck and I'm looking forward to meeting you and your son.

3 days!

G8 GT will be there. Weather won't matter. Was driving in the snow yesterday and the frozen over roads last night.

I would, but I have no insurance on it, it won't take affect again till April. Actually I wouldn't take it even if I had insurance for the winter months. The roads are now loaded with sand, salt, and a bunch of little stones and crap. My Goat has only been in ONE rain storm, and that was coming home from a car show back in 2007. If I don't have to get it dirty, it stays in the garage.

Oh well, the Pickup will be going, he's seen many winter, crappy roads meets. Hey, if you want to drive your GTO that's fine with me. I'm sure others will be bringing theirs too.

My GTO is a TRUE Garage King!!!

fair enough, cant blame you for keeping a GTO pretty, i will be cleaning mine and putting it away the day after the meet ford ranger ftw.

by the way, if i didnt owe money on mine and have to keep it under full insurance, i would do the same thing, believe me!

I was thinking the same thing Moe, lol, lol!!! The year I turned 18 the laws had just changed to allow 18 year olds to drink and vote. It was a great time in my life. Then when I turned 21 they stopped the law and brought it back up to 21 to drink, but the 18 year olds to vote stayed.

Come on Paul, bring the kid, he'll enjoy this more than all his aunts and uncles kissing and embarrassing him all to hell, hehehehe. Although I understand compleatly, we'll see you soon!!!

Anyway, barring any emergencies, I will be seeing you guys tomorrow, and it looks like we're going to have a good amount of people coming too!!!!

And if I can find them, I'll have a little gift for everyone!!!

ROK

Edit: I found what I wanted!!!
