How much clearance do you actually get? On a stock GTO, there is very little clearance between the water pump pulley, and the fans. Is the ZL1 (or CTSV) water pump that much lower profile than the stock GTO pump?

I'm thinking along the lines of, if you wanted to run a crossover pipe for a turbo in front of the motor, it's too tight as-is right now. but lower profile stuff would allow more space.

I suppose you could do whatever you want. The customer chose to use a VFN 3 inch cowl hood with this one.

It made 8.5 PSI, with American Racing 1 7/8 headers and no cats, stock catback exhaust, and LS3 stock heads, no other mods (stock ZL1 blower/crank pulley sizes), 93 pump gas.

Here is the graph:

Very cool. 1900 would not do that with a stock motor. However the LS3 heads love FI.

Numbers are stout, but I have to wonder price-wise (for other people, not the OP) if it's worth it to go this route, or with a TVS.
