Slap the diff in and drive it! Ill be driving it tonight Gotta pick up fluid and such and then slap it in, bolt up the drive shaft and go drive!!! Cant wait, Hopefully my new adjustable koni fronts will be here before the weekend!
That sucks man !!! I couldnt stand that!!
Got done driving it!! Runs pretty good, but the coilover springs I ordered are WAYYYYY to soft. Even on the shocks full stiff it will eventually rub the fenders on hard accell.... She was pretty rich WOT (10.2) so I cruised back home and made some adjustments, as well as dropped the oil. Putting in fresh oil and tune, gunna order some 225# rear springs, (had 150#). Its running 40Lbs of oil pressure @ idle, 53lbs @ cruising rpm, and 70lbs WOT so all in all pretty good! Im stoked!!
225 is what I have, but I think mine are a hair shorter than yours. Congrats on getting her on the road.
Ya I have a 12" spring VS I think the Gforce kits are 10"? But I think I may still go with the 225# springs! Hows the ride with yours??
I got it leaned up some and HOLY SHIT it pulls hard no matter what rpm its at. The old setup pulled hard after 4,000 but this thing doesnt care were it is in the RPM range it will pull it. I am LOVING IT!!!
Got a race against a bolton 350Z friday and a 60 trim bolton SRT4 neon so good week
Hell ya, wish there were more around! I did my first 1-2-3 WOT pull banging gears earlier and about put it in the ditch on the 2-3, ass end went way wide on me. This sumbitch pulls so much harder than before, and im on stock gears vs it had 3:91`s before! Im madly in love!!!! Accept that damn rasp in the exhaust, that was NOT there before and it sounds HORRIBLE!
Try switching to an X-pipe and see if that helps any. 3" all the way back? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that good for turbo/supercharger applications, but bad for N/A because of the back pressure loss?
