FS: OEM 18's 2-Weldcraft widened 1"

Like the title says: I have a set of four (4) OEM 18" wheels, two (2) of which have been widened by Weldcraft 1" to allow proper fitment of 275-285 width tires. These are take offs I purchased from another board member. Two still have the original rubber mounted (tires are of no use). The Weldcraft widened pair have never been mounted, nor had tires fitted since widening.

I would rate these wheels an 8 to 9 out of 10 cosmetically. There are some minor blemishes (small scratches, nicks), but no curb rash.

Asking for $1000 OBO. I'm located in central Texas, I'd rather not ship them, but if the buyer insists, then all shipping and insurance will be financed by the buyer (however you'd like them shipped).

I drooled over the thought of having widened 18's for several years, but now I've decided to stick with my 17s and have them widened instead.

Center caps optional, I'm willing to sell those separate (I have all four).

do they require notched control arms or mini tubs?

There are a number of threads that can answer this question in detail... but basically, these are not widened enough to require notched control arms or mini-tubs. However, if you are trying to fit larger than a 275, you will need fenders rolled, longer wheel studs (or a deep set of lug nuts), and a 5mm spacer. I also highly recommend you get a rear cradle alignment to insure everything lines up with no rubbing on either side.

275's should mount up with no issues.

Honestly, after seeing another GTO, same year, same color, with 18s parked side by side next to mine, I fell in love with the 17s all over again.

Plus the 17" 275 option matches the sidewall profile of the front tires better IMO. I like the extra sidewall, and I can definitely tell the difference.

I've got some 19" Drift R's with rubber (245/275) that I'd trade for these. PM me if you're interested.

Nice wheels, but I need the cash. Plus, I'm sticking with the sleeper look.

I'm not interested in splitting up the set... unless you're willing to pay $1000 for just the two.
