Where is everyone getting their VMR's from? Only 2 places I can find that sell them are 1010 and modbargains.

Any other places to look?

They said this about ROH Drift Rs in 2007, and now you can barely find a decent set left. At the time the DRs looked OE also. In 5 years when FPFQ'ers are board veterans, these VMRs will be highly sought after.

If my ROHs get trashed I'll probably get these, because they do look OE.

Re: O look another set of vmr 710

I feel dumb now. I mean, I'd gone to the VMR website but didn't see anywhere to buy them. I saw there is a contact email address for them though for sales, so maybe I'll try that.

Plus one for calling Don, I dealt with him when I ordered my 718's. Any close up pics of the rears? I'm thinking about going from my 285/35 to 275/40 on the rear...

Good grief, I'm shocked to hear you don't love those. I think yours is one of the best looking GTO's I've seen PERIOD. Just my opinion, tho I'd kill to have mine look like that!

Looks great.

I am partial to them myself.

I find it funny how many people complain about "everyone has them". Pretty much anything is better than stock 17s. The 18s look nice. But the vmrs are one of the few rims that look like they were supposed to come on the car.

275/40 is a rather tall tire. Are you sure you want to do that? It's 10 mm taller than your 285/35 is.....

Yes, I don't really care for it being much taller, but losing about 1/2" on the thread patch. I'm looking at Nitto Invos and they don't have a 285/35/10. If I don't go with the 275/40, I may end up getting the 295/35.

The reason we see so many of these wheels is because they look so good.

I would also have to agree with this. The height is solid but they are not flush enough in my opinion.

Re: O look another set of vmr 710

Slight change of subject, but it still applies to the topic. I'm probably going with the same setup as the OP. The rears need fenders rolled, that much is clear. I called my local shop and they charge 175 for fender rolling. Is that about average?

1. $20 dollar angle grinder from harbor freight
2. A few hours of your time

Re: O look another set of vmr 710

Buying a grinder wouldn't be necessary. Benefits of living on a farm. All the tools you'll EVER NEED.

I'd probably smurf it up pretty bad though, so I'd rather just pay someone to do it in this instance.

One thing that I know next to nothing about, is body work.

I've seen the videos on YouTube on how to do it, and it looks easy enough, but like I said, I'd probably F it up.
