I won't go as far as to say I "like" the shifter, but I do like it better than stock. I do very little, if any, racing with this car so appearance is more what I'm after. I like the old school Hurst rod and ball. It's as simple as that. With that said, I've previously given thought to switching to another shifter and incorporating the rod and ball from this one.

That's what she wanted to do. It was different than just another shot of the car.

When I first saw the cara...I thought to myself...I bet the YJ is hers and QSM is his. Just figured yellow would be more attractive to women ;-)

Then I saw it was yours and now im wondering if I am driving a chick color lol.

Nice shots and you are a lucky man! You have 2 GTOs and an attractive woman!

Why is that? I've stated my intentions for this car. I simply want it to look nice and sound nice. I'm building a Grand National to go fast. I don't need super crisp and short shifts out of this one. I paid $70 for the Hurst. It's fulfilled my needs. That's all that I ask.

You must have not looked at the thread title or read the initial post.

Lol. I love my YJ. As with most yellow cars that are louder than stock, it's an attention grabber when it leaves my garage or shop. Sadly, my 16 yr. old brother probably drives it more often than I do.
However, seeing the AZA's on the girl's car has made me think twice about getting rid of mine and going a different route. I think I'll experiment with the factory 18"s sitting in the back of my shop for now.

Thanks.

I'm still not seeing it - maybe jam the logo intrusively into the middle of every pic?

You must be one of the VMR nutswingers like the rest of us. While I do agree they're a killer wheel for GTO's, I can't agree with your statement. Maybe I'm biased..

Actually, I am more of a clean 5 spoke wheel guy, and any wheel that isn't all black. Mesh wheels always seem to work well on QSMs, though.

I love me a good 5-spoke...if you can make it work. Unfortunately, this car seems to really like the multi-spoke wheels.

I have a set of factory 18"s somewhere, too. Thinking of powder coating and trying those out for a while. Anything is better than the 17"s I have on it right now. Why I bothered putting "winter" wheels/tires on a vehicle that rarely moves in the winter I'll never know.
