To All Kc Goats!!!

So I guess the club was born, but now we need to discuss all the details. Ive been tryin to recruit around my area and some up in KC but it is somewhat hard. Most people say they just dont have time but they will call me later.

Anyways Im thinkin the first meet of the new year will be around the first saturday of March or April. We should do the the first friday/saturday and third friday/saturday meets and cruises. How about KCIR nights also? After the first meet I will get a schedule together on the rest of the meets and all of the car shows we would want to attend. Also Ive been thinkin about if we would want to merge with a f-body club or no? It would be up to you guys. We also need to get things like dues and all that good stuff together.

I guess I took on the president title for now but would all of you rather nominate someone? Need to get the rest of the jobs (vice, treasurer, blah blah blah)

Now anyone and everyone from MO would be cool to join but you would need to make at least one meet and one show a month and also pay full dues. Springfield is a city that I would want to really talk about getting the extra goats from, since they dont have that long of a drive.

We seem to be about 7 strong right now and only looks like we will be getting bigger. Shoot me some ideas on other things to talk about or plan out. Im sure I have forgotten alot and will just post anything else on here. Hope to hear from all of ya.

sounds good, but not sure about inviteing f-bodies. this spring, and summer we usually do north kansas city cruise on the second satuday of the month, the third saturday is platte city, and last saturday of the month is liberty/belton (the big cruise). we might want to think about doing belton, around 600 -700 cars every time so we would need to start early.we need to check out hemmings local listing for cruise nights in the area. its shows every friday, saturday, and sunday day ,and night events. we should make aaron president.

yep. its prob the best cruise in KC, or atleast in the top 3. im willing to drive where ever the shows are as long as we have a good gto turnout. im also going to look into getting buisness cards made for the club that ill put on any gto's i see around KC. maybe you should do the same down there? easy way of getting the club name out there i guess lol. what is the club name and are we gonna make a logo or anything?

Weekends in the summer are a real bitch for me... Screw it, we might have to have a Goats of KC meet at LOTO!

I am in. Any logo ideas? I have a vinyl cutter that I can make window decals with.

Anybody want to get a mod day together?

Decal cutter would save alot of money.
The other club im in cost me $20 for a decal thats peeling now.
So just for shits and giggles I priced out a stroker assem. cuz i
thought a 6.6 would be tight, $2,400 for the assem. Another $500
to $1,000 in misc parts and $2,500 for install.... to much money

Me too, I like wrenching.

On another note: any of you install a clutch before? I need one and its getting worse. I have air tools and will supply all the beer/food needed. I just need help doing it.

The $300-500 I'd save on the install would go towards a nice set of headers

Btw, what are the dues for? Stickers?

It'd be badass to get a nice calender going. Or garage posters with some group shots.
