On another note: any of you install a clutch before? I need one and its getting worse. I have air tools and will supply all the beer/food needed. I just need help doing it.

The $300-500 I'd save on the install would go towards a nice set of headers

I'll help. I have the factory manuals. HOB did mine while the engine was out, but he had the tranny R&I'd in under 2 hours. I want to mod the side window defrost vents so that they actually work... I saw a write up on how to do it somewhere, I just need to find it again.

I can only cut single colors... I might be able to design 2 decals that fit together to make the red and black though. Slick idea.

Awesome.

I'm going to wait til it warms up a bit and I get my tax return

Post up what you find on the vents, I'm curious about that too.

As far as decals, I'm not huge on stickers but if its simple and all white I'd put it on. I want to take off my ls1gto stickers anyways.

Here is the outline for that goat. I can make it just about any size and color.

Now we just need to come up with a club name to put under it.

Nope. It is on my list. It should be an easy one to do at a mod day though.

There are a number of sites that you can get free fonts.

I am still running a copy of PS7 too. A have CS floating around here somewhere, but 7 is doing everything that I need it to.

i have an ls7 clutch waiting to be installed. has been collecting dust for two years. i was waiting for the factory clutch to wear down. its starting to slip when i lay into it hard,so i guess spring or summer would be a good time to install it.

Mod day would be nice since I will be ordering the heads, cam, and gaskets at the start of the summer and while I can install the heads, the cam I would have no idea even how to start.
"The Herd" is my personal fav and I like the goat head.
The dues would go towards stickers, maybe t-shirts (altho i think that we should just get them priced and people can buy them on there own), and maybe starting a fund for a car show sometime.

Not sure how I have missed this thread, but alas, here I am. That logo with text "The Herd Of KC" is pretty sweet. There is plenty of garage/driveway space at my house, if no one has a better suggestion/location we could probably use my house for meeting up for mod day(s). There's not a ton of tools so you'd have to bring your own though.
