Bought a second gto need advice on suspension upgrade

I bought an SRM 06 gto A4 with 27k 3 years ago. It has bolt ons and wheels. I only use it 2 days a week now and wanted an M6. I'd also like a car i can not worry about door dings. So i bought another SRM 06 M6 with 138k. It has a 6 point cage, and bolt ons. I'll be moving the wheels and some parts over to the M6. I'll be removing the cage and selling the low mile A4.

I want to do a track day this year and maybe try autocross. I mostly want a car that's fun to drive on weekends on good roads. I'm looking at a cheap set of coil overs(BC, Mavman, etc), whiteline strut mounts and bearings, radius rod bushings, and the hyperflex master kit of urethane bushings. Maybe sway bars in the future.

Do i want the caster adjustable radius rod bushings?

Any other bushings I'm forgetting?

What bolts do i need to replace?

Am i forgetting anything?

Pic of both together on the way home.

Pics of the cage if anyone is interested.

I saw that car on Craigslist a few weeks ago. Kinda different moving 100k miles from one car to another.

Id swap the wheels, the splitter and the good interior bits, the headlights.

Rear subframe bushings? Diff insert? Motor / trans mounts? I did everything at once for the hell of it.

The A4 has 55k on it now. It's going back to mostly stock, and getting sold. Its too clean to swap parts from. The splitter, wheels, vararam, and borla will go on the new car. The cage, jba shorties, magnaflow catback, and k&n intake will get sold.

I'll take a look at those while its on the lift.

You want to upgrade your brakes/rotors/tires for road course. I swap out brake pads just for track days and use slotted rotors. A set of Bridgestone RE-11's work well for the occasional track day and autocross. You can drive to and from the event.

I have continental dw tires on the vmr wheels. Those are going to have to suffice. It has slotted rotors on it now, I'll look into different pads.

He'd be foolish to swap the good interior bits from a ~30k (or whatever it has now) car into a 138k mile car and vice-versa. Nobody will want to buy a ~30k mile car with worn out interior pieces and scratched and fogged-up headlights.

I guess I was just focused on the car that I'd be driving with the worn out interior pieces and scratched and fogged-up headlights.

It is pretty cool having twins tho, good luck with your plans, great color.

True, but I'd gladly take a hit on the resale value in exchange for keeping the best parts on the GTO I was keeping.

Let's all be realistic for a moment too: these are cheap cars now. If I currently had 2 GTO's with the intention of selling one, I'd absolutely put the best parts on the GTO I was keeping, then sell the other for what the market will allow.

Exactly my thoughts. It'll go back to stock, get detailed and I'll wait for someone that wants a clean, low mile, 2 owner car.

The interior is in good shape. The previous owner wasn't that big and had a 50 mile round trip commute on the hwy. The steering wheel is a little rough, I already bought one on eBay.

I'll buff and clear coat the lights.

I tried to message the seller about the cage a while back but apparently the number was wrong. How much do you want for it?
