Well the GTO did not sell so I traded it in on an 01 Z06. They gave me 18K for the GTO and sold me the Z06 for 26K. It has 21K miles and is clean! Here is a link to the dealer with pics. Scroll down to see all of them. The only thing i'm nervous about is the warranty cause it has none...hope this thing is reliable!
My God! Z06's are going for that low these days?! Hell, when I went to go to get the Goat, there was a C5 sitting in the showroom and they still wanted over 40K for it and it had a good amount of miles on it. Probably why it was still in the showroom, lol
I'm not feeling the red inserts on the interior, but I didn't care for the red interior on the Goat either. Do all ZO6's have red inserts in the seats/doors/dash?
I do think the car looks awesome however. Looks like it was taken care of. I've owned three Vette's, but my last was a '96 C4. Haven't even ridden in a C5 or C6 because I'm afraid I'll want to buy it. With two kids, the wife's not going for the Vette idea.
Nice find on the Z-06 for such a nice price. Car looks well cared for from the pictures inside and out. Best of luck with it and hope you enjoy it. Be sure to stick around here anyway. BTW I love the interior color combo with the silver exterior.

P295/35ZR18 Rear tires stock! Not modded, but Stock! Which, of course, is bigger than anything we can stuff in the back of a GTO without using a cutting wheel (sigh).
So I've heard of some serious sheat metal work to get in a bigger set of tires, but in this case looks like you decided to go with fiberglass and didn't stop with just the fenders
Seriously, nice ride and if you're going to stay in the LS engine family, this is the way to do it

I had a 2001 and a 2003/ Very nice cars. The 01's had a problem with oil consumption. Before you buy you may want to check the records to see if its been re-ringed, or if there were any other issues.
That is a good deal from a dealer. The Z06 may not be as practical as the GTO but it will definitely be much faster and get much more attention. Nice color and I like the interior color also. Enjoy! I hope to get a 2008 Vette (base car with Z51 & 6M) if they have the LS3 with rumored 435 bhp.
awesome ride but make sure you get a carfax 26k is extremely low make sure it wasnt in any accidents i almost bought a 2003 c5 for 20k until i found out it was in an accident. and always get the dealers extended warranty its worth it on used cars

+1. Good information. Before I bought my 93 z28 back in 95, I was looking at another white z28. For some reason, my dad insisted that I get a lemonbusters inspection before I bought it, and I did. Turns out it was a 93 in front, and a 94 in back. That price does draw some red flags, but it very well could be legit.
