nothing crazy here, just a SLP LM I catback, stock manifolds, stock mids, only thing is i used straight pipes instead of the X pipe from the kit.

i can't see the exhaust making it all that louder, but yea, it's not that quiet.

stainlessworks 1 3/4" longtubes (3" Collector) - 3"offroad pipes - removed resonator - 2.5" True Duals to Flowmaster Super 40's (2.5") on stock tips.

just wanted to say i bought a gto today and i was surprised to hear how quiet it is without any mufflers on it. to me, it sounds exactly like it has flowmasters on it. deep medium volume hum at 1/4 throttle and almost totally silent in 6th gear at highway speeds, but roars under WOT. i LOVE it.

after hearing it, im quite surprised that so many people are paying big bucks for exhaust systems when the gto sounds so good when the mufflers are replaced with straight pipes.

Exhaust clips in garages FTMFL! Sorry to say but the recording device is no good and the sound is horrible. No way you can tell what that really sounds like in person.

No garage shots, and don't record the exhaust from the front of the car.

Drive by's (slow & fast) are the best for really hearing an exhaust.
