shows an '05 getting its a$$ handed to it by a Jaguar XJR at the Salinas Racetrack in PR. There are a few goats on the island but at least one very bad goat driver.
The guy driving the GTO in that video must have been an idiot. 15 seconds?!?!? I don't think so. The Jag did the 1/4 in 13.86. The '04 can beat that. The '05 GTO is supposed to do the 1/4 in 13.3. Anyone else see anything wrong?

haha, I was just there for 2 weeks as well. I saw a total of 4 04's and 1 06. GTO's are not popluar because of gas prices obviosuly and the fact that they just aren't so cheap over there. All cars cost a crap load more.

hehe. Gas is def. cheaper over there, reg is 51 cents a liter, so thats like 1.85-1.90/gallon, (I'm guessing). My rrental econobox was a Hyundai Brio. All I know is that I went across the Island on a 1/4 tank of gas...
I don't think the cars cost more, but you get banged with an import/shipping tax that can be painful. A local told me if you bought domestic the hit wasn't as hard. Seems like the popular gas sipper over there was the Yaris, saw thousands of those suckers. Classic CJ Jeeps are prized as well, and all year 4-Runners...
So my a small pet peeve, (very small) over here in NY is that some people don't signal when they change lanes. NO ONE, I mean NO ONE except yers truly signaled when changing lanes. But over all, they were very slow and not remotely aggressive whilest driving..
I'm on vacation right now in Guayama, a small town here in PR, and saw a blue GTO going in the opposite direction on one of the highways here. It had a banshee hood, and looked like it was a Midnight Blue Metallic, but not sure because I was more concerned with not getting lost, and only got a glimpse of it as it went by.
By the way, it is hot as hell here, and I've been eaten alive by mosquitoes since I got here, which really sucks... On the plus side, I won some money at the Hilton Casino in Ponce two days ago.
