Vengeance L92 Stroker Results!!! Updated With Idle Video
OK let me start off by saying I do not have any words to describe how this car drives but I will do my best!
Ron and I got to talking one fine day and agreed that we need to let the Vindicator CAM breathe a bit better because for some crazy reason we were not happy with 452 RWHP. So once we got to talking a bit more we started talking crazy and the more it made sense! Go figure! So this wicked build of a motor is Ron, Mike and Buddy's creation from the ground up! This motor was built to put a smile on everyones face! I picked it up last night and I have not stopped smiling and shaking of fear yet! We started with this:
STOCK UNTOUCHED L92 Cylinder Heads with Comp 921 Dual Valve Spring kit
Vengeance Racing Custom Camshaft (VERY MILD/EXCELLENT STREET MANNERS)
L76 Intake( STOCK UNTOUCHED)
LS7 Injectors
ASP Pulley
K&N Cold Air
SLP 1 3/4 Headers w/ CATTED Mid Pipes
STOCK CATBACK!!!!!
TEXTRALIA Clutch
Walbro 255 Intank/Kenne Bell Boost a pump

Motor was built and installed by Buddy, I have never been more impressed with a builder ever, Buddy pulled the LS2 Vindicator CAM Motor with Transmission out of my car in just under 2 hours, then had the motor stripped down to the long block in another hour and a half. He had it on the stand ready to go in just shy of 4 hours! Thats got to be a record somewhere!!
New motor came in and Buddy started to work, once all the parts were in of course! Day of the motor build he started around 10:30 AM, only taking a break for lunch he was on the build! He had the motor started and running at 6:30 that night! Just completely incredible!!!
Next went to Mike for break in and tuning or as I like to call him Magic finger Mike! LOL!! he went to town tuning away! Car started running out of fuel so we had to compensate a bit but nothing that they couldn't handle. Car was strong right out of the gate! After all was said and done Mike made it a monster! heres the Dyno:
Thats right folks, 522 RWHP with 500 TQ I have 450 Ft Lbs of TQ at 3200 RPM's
The car drives Incredible, Scary, Fast, any adjective that you can think of that describes Sheer acceleration, Bliss or euphoria! Its easy as hell to drive, once you get used to the clutch, the Textralia grabs good but not harsh, pedal is better than stock, not hard or stiff at all. I couldn't be more satisfied in this build! they did an amazing job and went above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for! Like I said at the beginning I don't have the words to describe it!
Thanks RON, Mike and Buddy! You have made this on of the most pleasant experiences of my car modding I cant thank you enough! I also cant forget Charlie! Hes come a long way, and takes a lot of abuse since hes the new guy, but its only because hes the new guy!

ah nick these L92s out flow most all of the aftermarket stuff right out of the box ,now id like to see the fuel issue cured and a bigger cam also the 1-3/4 headers might be hurting it a bit

Fuel issue was cured! my current fuel setup will support 800+ HP!
how much do you think you would pick up with a wild cam and cnc heads,and ported intake just asking b/c iam getting ready to do a 402 or 414. they are great numbers!!!

Love the fact that you are making peak power ealier and more low end torque. I hate seeing motors have to be spun 7,200 to make peak power. That's just my preference though....
Car sounds insane, but I see a lot more big HP/TQ combos about to start coming out with these L92/L76 setups.
man thats awesome.. those are some great numbers.. I would too like to know your out of pocket.. LOL . Do you plan on spraying it? I bet you could easily be in the 11s N/A

Very nice curve. One of the best I've seen. I hope you have upgraded driveline parts on order. With the torque it's putting down it's certainly going to locate the weak spots quickly. I bet it's fun to drive.
