New owner checking in...

First - thanks to this board, I trolled for about 2 weeks reading up on the cars before I dove in. I ended up with an 04 Quicksilver / black int M6.

I love the T56 and other than some rims, it's stock. I'll probably add a CAI, cat backs and shifter and call it done. (Maybe a 100 shot kit this summer though. )

I used to have Grand Nationals and really consider the GTO the GN of the new millenia. I still have GN blood in me though, my drag car is powered by a Turbo Buick V6 but the only real GN part on it is the intake (which is a shadow of what it used to be.) Here's an old video of it someone made at a Camaro club track rental. It'll go 8's this summer for sure, it went 155 last year.

Between me and my (2) boys, we also have a Jr. Dragster and (4) dirtbikes, one is a YZ426 SuperMoto (and is nitrous'd).

Just wanted to say howdy from wintery IL and share my excitement about the car. I drove 400 miles yesterday in blustery winter weather to go get it and then had a nice cruise back home. What a car, my wife and kids love it as much as I do.

Where at in IL? Yesterday in Bloomington there were wrecks all over town and the interstate even with what little snow we had. The goat is not the best snow car, but it can make it. Enjoy!

Peoria? I graduated from Bradley and worked for Cat (Decatur though). Now I work for Deere (Quad Cities) and live near Kewanee, IL. My wife still works part time in Peoria at St. Francis. I used to live near Lincoln in when I worked for Cat. When I was going to Bradley, I lived off Nebraska and Sheridan in our first little house.
