APS Turbo video

Is there any videos of GTO's running APS turbo kit in the US? Just curious because there were a lot of purchases of these kits . I still have yet to see a video. If you have a APS kit, how do you like the kit? Please post a video!

I saw an APS GTO the other day. Guy still needed injectors and a tune. Still had the stock cat back on as well. I could not even hear the turbos and even when he drove off I still could not hear it. Guy who I spoke with installed it for a friend and he also hangs out at ECS...he said the car was incredibly tame until you got on it a bit. Obviously with stock injectors and no dynotune yet, he couldn't mat it. This guy also said the install was a bit more challenging than he expected and it took about 40hours to install. They were also shocked at how fast the kit arrived(230LBS box), about 1 week!! Quality was very good as well and for $5700 it's a steal!! Like was mentioned early. Other than the CAI that's near the driver's side wheel well, the car looked pretty stock other than the wrapped manifolds and APS embroidered pipes heading down to the turbo!

I think he meant it had the "standard" APS tune.

You can limp around on the car without fuel upgrades and a custom tune. Just turn the BC down.

APS doesnt give you any tune though , and if he has/had a n/a tune , then he has way to much timing for a turbo

and 7.5 psi is the lowest amount of boost it will reach

nope , ive got the kit

no tune and no fuel mods , he does sell 60 lb injectors and a 255 pump , but you still need a tune for the 60lb injectors , unless you wanna flood the motor

Here's a vid of mine on the dyno. That squealing you here is the tires slipping that's why there are two people in the trunk on the last pull.

Oh, btw Peter- is that backfiring normal with this kit?

I'm pretty sure the pop is in the DFCO settings. I have yet to play with mine, but it will shoot a flame out the exhaust when I lift. I was going to get the rest of my tune 100%, then toy around with the DFCO.

Awesome! I love the trunk additions, that cracks me up. Any car that can spin the tires on a dyno is ok in my book. ;-)
