Man I hear ya..... my car has been at the shop for 3 months, delay after delay after delay.... not all the shops fault, but still it wears on 'ya. I actually considered throwing in the towel and move on to the two 67 camaro's in the garage. But I've only had the GTO less then a year, and it's so close.... again!
Hang in there man, do what I do, make your goat friends take you for rides in their car, or better yet, borrow the keys to tie you over.

I have a Lunati VooDoo cam here at the house thats small and makes good bottom end power and doesnt affect drivability. I'll give it to you for $125.00 and it's new..!

I think it's more the problem with paying someone to install the cam right now....unless someone will be nice and work WITH me to install a cam, can't be that hard and I need to learn anyways. Gotta check my PTV with the Torquer 2 though...let me see what I can do Bob.
I'll pull the cam card out tomorrow. With worked heads this cam headers and a fast the car made over 400rwhp. It's mild but it's nice to use if you want a daily driver that has no issues.
Hey for the dyno day, if anyone can provide or temporarily let me use their 90 or 92mm 04 compatible throttle body to test something I would be very gracious. I want to see if a different throttle body will still make that hideous screeching noise I get at startup.
Guys I bought the TB from said they'd be happy to look at it but will not swap me another one to see if it's a manufacturing defect until I see them. Problem is, I dont plan on being anywhere in that area any time soon
