i guess its ok, why didnt you just buy a 05-06 exaust the pipes dont look mandral bent or anything, i would have spent the extra money and bought a full catback system
05/6 exhaust is only 2.5" and I didn't want an OEM sounding exhaust, and I needed 3" for the FI setup I was running.
and this setup only ran me $400 for parts and labor(mufflers included). And I don't have any mids since I have pacesetters for an 04 and they didn't have mids when I bought them.

Gotta love the stealth! Had mine done on Monday.
Very happy with the look and the sound.
Not very conventional, but that's me!
Post incl. pics and a very poor video clip a page or two back.
Will get better video this weekend.
I'm off to scare some ricers on the way home......

think about coming up on a car while driving , your less likely to look at a single tip and think it would be a good challenge for a quick light to light
Nice set up!!! I was wondering how you did the right side with the left cut out. I have the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat Back attached to Kooks Header LT's. And I love the sound of it, there's a link in my signature to hear it. I like the two pipes exiting one side on the 04's. I'm curious why you didn't cut out the right side to make it look even? I know you can't see the other pipe from behind, but it also looks like you have a single exhaust for those that don't know, but I guess who cares. I get that with my pipes, lol......
I think I would come up with something a little less chopped up looking... But thats just me...
I guess I dont understand... It still looks like an afterthought that was half assed...
I guess if they like it, to each his own... But to me it looks ghetto...
Its not chopped up looking, its almost factory looking....hell it IS factory looking if you have a dual tip on the left side.
It was actually very well thought out, not half assed.
If you didn't see underside pics it would look like another 2004 goat...mine does when it is on the ground, I have the corsa tip on the left side so it actually looks to the casual observer like I have a corsa catback...you can't see the right side turndown when you're driving down the road....
for the looks/sound/performance you gain by going to dual 3 inch and NOT having to cut the bumper to put a second tip out (one of the reasons I like the 2004 was the single exit exhaust) this is the BEST and only option to get dual 3 inch.
To the person above.....because it looks better and you don't have to cut shit.
Hey,
I just cut my bumper for a setup like this and i think im going to copy you! When you ran your 3 inch, did you get different cats or did you just bypass them. If not did you just run 2.25 into 3 inch after them? Thanks!
