Yella Terra L92 Roller Rockers

Has anyone dynoed after upgrading the stock rockers to these yella terra's? I'm hoping they provide more valve train stability at higher RPM and a few extra ponies on the top end.

Check with Mike at New Era Performance. They've done a few swaps.

They'll be doing that same thing to mine in the very near future. How soon did you want to know? Heh.

I read in a thread on LS1Tech, that a guy did them and didn't notice and gains on the dyno, but the thing these are great for is lightening up your valvetrain. That's worth a lot where it counts. I'm working on my L92 setup right now and hoping to get some of these eventually also.

Post your numbers after the install. I'll probably do them regardless for the extra stability.

I've been running Yella Terra's for about 4k. I can't say that I picked anything up on the dyno but I do know that the stock rockers twist like a bitch. When I took my stock rockers off none of them had wear patterns on the tips that were centered over the valve. All of them were off to one side or the other.

i think the biggest gains are to be had after 6500 rpm. the stock rockers seem to do ok up until that point. they may be worth more on a heads/cam/fast 90 (that has the potential to spin higher) than a cam only car turning 6500. from what ive seen they are worth like 3-5hp over stockers in most cases.

i have a set of yella terra 1.7's that i plan on installing with my fast 90, and im planning on bumping my limiter from 6800 to 7100 depending on where it stops making power. wont know for another 5 weeks or so though
