Sharp looking wheels, cnard! A bit shiny for my tastes (I'm old, you see) but very nice! What size are they???

Anyway, those are very sexy. Did you paint the calipers yourself?

I painted the calipers while they were on the car. Very easy to do. I purchased a paint that was made for calipers. Its heat resistant up to 932 degrees. Here is a link to the paint.

I wish I could afford those , in black or dark grey inner section with the chrome lip, anyway I called on those wheels a few weeks ago after seeing a pic. They are close to $900 each

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Painted brake calipers really make a difference, especially with after market wheels.

The wheels are polished aluminum (No chrome). They are $900. each and add $150. each if you want them polished. Their expensive but I like the way they look. The tail lights came from Burg Design. If you order the lights make sure you purchase the wiring harness also.

The wheels look great, a bit on the wildside.

Question: what's their offset and weight compared to the stock rims?

I really like the tires and paint calipers. Seems like everyone has gone rim crazy though. Pretty soon I'll be the only one with factory rims and that will actually make my car different

Thanks, I am definitely getting the chrome tail lights, was the install fairly simple? I can't imagine it being much.

Padre,

The new wheels weigh in at 23lbs each. I don't know what the stock rims are. The wheels are 18X8 120mm bolt pattern with a 47 offset.

Dbluegoat,

The lights I ordered are black with chrome around the lighted part. But you can order chrome for the entire light which may look better depending on what your car color is. The install was simple using the wire harness. The power plug may feel tight like it does'nt fit but it does. I changed both lights in 15 minutes.

I have reached the point of nausea from stressing over my new wheels. They're still not here and I haven't been able to get a "status report." The wheels are the last major mod to install, and I know they are going to look, oh, so sweet. Meanwhile, every evening I watch for the delivery truck like a kid at Christmas. And every evening I get coal in my stocking.

Any rubbing? the car I test drove had a nice set of 18's on it but they rubbed in the rear, maybe the dealer put the wrong type on.

Scgoat--I have no rubbing. The overall tire height stays the same when you increase the wheel size.. The critical point is the wheel offset.
