Pictures of your GTO on the track

Post up pictures of your GTO on the track. Whether it be track days, autox, or and actual race. Interested in seeing what everyone has.

Where are your pics? Btw, what size tires are you running? I'm really tempted to get Koseis and some 255/40 all around.

Here are some pics of mine. New pics should be posted soon that include suspension and new wheels

I haven't gotten to he track yet. I am going to wait until I get a seat. I am running 245/45/17 all the way around with no rubbing front or rear. You could easily run 255's all the way around.

Wouldn't that be caused by not enough negative camber?

Thanks. Glad you liked it. The wheels are custom build "one off" three piece Kodiaks. They are super light weight and are 17x9's. I race on the Kumho 710's. 245 front/ 275 rear. At the time of these photos, I was racing in Touring 2 Class which doesn't allow many suspension goodies. The suspension was bone stock except Pedders "no drop" springs on all four corners and Pedders Struts and shocks.

Looks like nice setup, the wheels look freaking gorgeous! What is the offset on them?

How are you liking Pedders for racing? Also, what are future plans for suspension since you can do pretty much anything in the new class?

I said I had a ton of pictures...heh

2008 Autox Season - part 1 - Pedders Track II 3/8" drop front, 1/2" drop rear, Hotchkis sways front and rear, Rota P45's and Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1's

Good shot of the Dunlop Z1's...better tires!

I'm pretty sure I 3-wheeled the car for the first time here, mainly because I overshot the turn way too much, but the pointer cone is blocking the bottom of the tire. lol.

Thanks. I can't remember the offset for the life me. I am getting old and that was three years ago. The Pedders parts work great. Every part and piece has been done under the car now for the new class. I am pleased so far. Weight is still my worst enemy. The carb. 3rd gen cars in the class have the same or more hp and weigh 300-400 lbs less than I. I still love the class. I have 3 wins so far and one 2nd (by .004 second). That was a close race.

That likely contributed as well. My current front camber is only -.2 because of clearance issues with my coilovers. However, the AO48 R-Comps I used the next day on the dry skid pad had no problems handling the oversteer and heat.

Haha. Nice! I too drag raced for about 12 years. Now be honest, wouldn't you like to race 30+ cars instead of only one? How about your race lasting an hour instead of 12 seconds? Plus you could do 150+ mph instead of 108??? Doesn't that sound nice?
