I'm 19 Paid 26k for the car and pay $460 a month $o down and $330 a month 9 months out the year for insureance. Your payments vary depending on ur intersest rate i got a 6.0% and felt really lucky i got it by myself with no cosigner. So basically it depends on ur credit and ur insureance company.

Yes, I know the interest rate is high. Without refinancing (Waiting until 1 year), I should have her paid off in 3 years.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Not really any of my business, so feel free to tell me to take a hike... But why is the interest rate so high? Sounds like you have the cash flow to pay it off early which is great. Have you looked into a balance transfer to a low rate credit card in order to reduce the interest?

Got the car in March 08 for $24,000 with 1700 miles. Loan through local credit union @ 6%, no down payment, plus gap coverage and something else. Total around $25.8? Payments of $531/60mo. but paying $1000 just because I hate the thought of paying until 2013. Ins. 643/6mo. in my dads name, would have been over $1000 in mine. Looking to switch to Grundy/Hagerty Stated Value since its only seen 100 miles this year.

Found the car for $23k last year with low low miles (can't remember honestly, it's at 45k now, lol) and traded in my '04 gt, rolled over negative equity into current loan, total price after that and TT&L:
$28k and some change
5.9% apr no co-signer through my (now former) employer USAA
$456/mo. 72 months
usually pay $500 or more to pay off early
Insurance through USAA is $160/month
Used to be $330/month through Farmer's
22, 1 accident my fault, 2 speeding tickets (that they know of ^_^)

Thank god the street racing charge from years ago didn't stick to my record thanks to a ridiculously expensive lawyer, I doubt I could've gotten insurance at all with that on there
(Class B offense here in Texas)

I was paying 176 but it was supposed to be about 256 a month beforehand, after my ridiculous run ins with the law recently, (fagget haters) they were trying to rape me by charging me a ridiculous 500 a month, I said screw it, took the car off my name and now my payments a month for the car is lower and the insurace will SUBSTANCIALLY cheaper because it is now insured and "owned" threw mom, loopholes FTW!

I put 0 down and rolled a decent amount of negative equity into mine.

Car: $613 / month but I pay $650
Ins: $125 / month, 24 years old, clean record.

Just refinanced the car for the same term at a lower APR and long as the paperwork goes through the payment should drop to about $570 or so.
