Cage Installed

Finally got the cage put in by Blitzkrieg motorsports in Milwaukee (actually just north of Racine).

Shop did a great job, especially considering the price and that it was painted ($850).

In regards to the rear bar where the seats used to be, I am going to have that carpeted over to cover the metal that is exposed.

Also, diameter allows for a future upgrade to a full cage if necessary.

Thanks, I was very happy with the fit and finish.

Seating position is good, I am short so I can get in easily, only issue is getting out.

lol

Does anyone know if the seats are tied to the airbag sensors? I am getting an Airbag warning now and only thing that has happened since is this cage install with the seats being taken out.

Thanks, that has to be the issue. Do you know where or have a schematic.

Oh, and you can't see the cage from outside the car except from the rear with the two bars dropping down into the rear seats.

the passenger side seat is tied into the air bag crap.. you'll need to stop by the dealer and have them reset it with a tech-2... none of the tuning software can re-set it.

Our Holeshots just barely touched the calipers too!
Many people use wheel spacers on the Holeshots....
we didn't. That may be the difference.

Bolts to the floor everywhere except the bars that go to the rear.

Calipers just barely touched even with the spacers...dunno why, but they did. But I am running powerslots, that might be why?

The front seats are. There is a yellow connector under the seat on both side. I would disconnect th battery and they check the connectors and make sure they are attached. Don't mess with them with the car powered up . . .
