Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuce congrats man!!!! That thing is flying! Not bad for a little old STOCK BOTTOM END LS1. I’ll say it again Bruce, a little nitrous and you may see a 9 bro!

None the less 10.59 is very impressive and check out that trap speed! You are making some serious power.

The most amazing thing is that you are not done yet. With more weight reduction, steeper gearing, and a more efficient transmission I see better ET’s in the future for you.

Cool

Bruce, much congrats once again to you and Cartek Racing, that car is truly a hard hittin' beast. It's pulling lightweight F-body type numbers in a heavier GTO with an IRS, craziness.

First and foremost this is a tried and true combo from Cartek and they obviously have the car dialed in.

Second he has a lot of weight out of the car.

And third he had really good weather conditions at a good track.

Thanks man.... I would say the way the front lifts a little higher & distributes the weight transfer better and also the weight savings is a good thing to. Don't do it if you like to take twisties hard...LOL

Nope I dont drive fast at all when not racing or take corners hard. I am at around 450hp on motor with the nitrous tune but i think if with more timing put in the car should run pretty well on motor. Right now it runs high 11's at 114-116 with a small stall.

What stall do you run? How much timing on the tune?
Still great times man, 10.5's on motor is just badass, your car with spray would be nines for sure.

Matt,

Congrats on a new best for the car 10.84. Fairly impressive for driving almost 80 miles to the track, airing down the tires, clicking off 1.45 60fts and multiple 10.80 passes, and then airing up and driving home. Not bad for a car that remained untouched for a year. With some more Cartek love I see better ET’s for you.

That true, let's not forget Matt's ('BadGTO') small new best, bettering his car's previous 10.86 for the heads and cam LS2s as well.

My Guess on race weight is 3580-3600 range I haven't had the opportunity to weigh it since Oct at Etown, That particular day at englishtown I participated in 2 events and had the car dialed in all day long!!!

I had 2 weights 1st one 3790 lbs with rear seats in and a few tools still in the trunk everything else removed, running time shots 11.1's all out before eliminations began, Then adding weight modification the other way to make the GTO heavier, yea I know don't say it...LOL I made it heavier I remember seeing almost 4200 lbs with all crap I purposely put in there.
Rules

As far as handling goes without the front sway bar,Its not the most ideal thing to do.
I drive most of the year on skinnies then usually around late July Thru August I put all 4 of the stocker street tires on and cruise to the shore and go to car shows/Meets and stuff. See Link http://video.cardomain.com/Clip.aspx...645B8FC9DBEA4D

I even bring the wife and 2 kids on occasions. After coming back from a Seaside shore Cruise I remember putting the Air conditioner on as we got stuck in traffic and rain for 2 hours BTW The air works great in these cars to I hope this helps.
