It did have Peddler's.. when I got there I saw the springs. The thing is it had a bunch of scratched on the rear bumper, a few large paint chips on the front, and a HUUUUGE scratch on the driver's mirror, and some scratches on the body by the mirror along with a medium size dent as well. Also, the tinted tails weren't done well, someone did one of the @ home bake on things, Mechanically it was PERFECT. They had just put new breaks, shaved the rotors, and put new tires on it. Drove PERFECT. The thing that got me to though was they didn't bother cleaning the car up even though they knew I was going to see it two days before... they had it sitting next the road for 4-5 weeks getting hammered by salt and sand.
Got about 90% of the paperwork done, negotiated my trade in, negotiated getting the dent and paint problems fixed, also also got them to give me extra $ on the trade in so I could buy new tails lights. (Since I don't like Smoked tails and like the '06's design better, plus I think they are illegal here, but I would have just offered them for a free trade here for plain 2006's heh). After we filled out the credit application, me and my Dad went outside to grab the registration and insurance out of my G6, and my Dad completely changed his mind on Cosigning for me, and signing off on the $1,300 payoff on my G6's loan that would roll into this, and decided I couldn't afford it...($230-$250/mo....of which I can easily as I make that in 2-3 days of work..). So he went in, basically took my deposit check from them, and walked out and said sorry, leaving me there like... unable to say anything to the sales staff we'd been working with for an hour+.. the manager came out and was like... What's up? Something we did? Err? We were so far along?? What happened? And I HAD TO tell him apparently my father changed his mind at the last second.. and that incredibly sorry for wasting his time and I feel incredibly embarassed because of him.. and it was nothing any of his staff or anyone did as they were all PERFECT salesman.. then my Dad was screaming lets leave.... Uuggghhg... I still feel completely embarassed about the whole situation. Suprisingly enough, this is not the first time he's done this... he did it with both my sisters before on their first car purchases they were doing on their own. They both ended up going back with my mother as a cosigner and getting the car. However, I'm stuck till I get the $1,300 I owe on the G6 paid off, which won't be for another month. If this GTO is still there, I'm going to head down there with my mother and the title for the G6 and do the deal then, if they'll have me after this incident. My Dad's such a prick.. Ugh. If that GTO is gone, I'm gonna go to the local dealer in town and tell them what I want and see if they can get it at auction...
Damn dude, that sucks. You had me embarrassed for you just by reading that.
I think he just doesn't want you to have a car as quick or quicker than his! haha

Raced a friends G8 GT last night in the Monte (Turbo) got beat up a lil ...on the upside I am loving the G8, it looks 100000 times better in person, and I'm actually starting to see quite a few around....

I might be looking at the G8 GT's as well. I'm adding in those as well at the GTO's.... I finally seen 2-3 of them around here in the past few weeks, never saw one on the road till then... I agree they look a lot better in person than on the site. I look at them online and go.. ehhhhhhhh... then in person OMG!

That stinks, however you should wait the extra month till your G6 is paid off. Never buy another car until you pay off the first one. Never roll negative equity from a previous car loan over into a new car payment either. To be honest in this economy, I would just pay off the G6 and drive around with no car payments. To each their own.
