Reason: Updates
Put me down for a "maybe". That is just a few weeks before the Power Tour. The tour ends on June 13th, in Bristol this year and some of the long haulers will be hitting the dragon afterwards. Also, a day in PF holds no interest for me. I will be following this thread with great interest.

Possible Maybe as well. I will have to make a run to PA to see my dad, he's not doing so well and don't know if the funds are available to do that and make the early Dragon run.

I was only there Friday but I thought we were behind the BMWs when our group ran the Dragon?
I don't think we ever held them up unless it was later in the day after I left, but I followed them out 74 to 40.

Drive slow? If you call 60+mph slow them you need to go to Bonnieville salt flats. The BMW group was there for only a short time, only seen them for the first hour or so.
i found this on bimmerdrivers.com
drouse posted this up. Apparently he was behind 2 GTOs and video'd it from the lake almost 2 the end. 11 minutes.
It's the best video I've seen of GTOs on the dragon.
The GTO in front of him did quite a bit of across the line driving. Hmmm. I wonder who that was?

Lol Yeah they had actually Split us up going to the lake from the lodge. Thankfully they pulled off at Deals gap. Then they caught back up to us. That was my first run through there and we did decent considering.
It's a great vid nonetheless.
The Evo guy never posted up their vid that he was editing.
What I like about this one is that the size and quality are good enough
to actually tell what was going on and the cameraperson keeps the camera on the
cars in front, especially in the turns.
I could barely keep myself in the seat and I had a steering wheel to hold onto, don't know how the cameraperson did it.
I'm going to do the old Corvette seatback/shoulder belt trick this time.
Recline seatback a inch or two more than you would. Put your seat belt on, then move the seatback up to your normal position. The shoulder belt will now be tight against your chest.

Same here... I am going to try and catch the last leg of the power tour because it will bring me right back to the house

Yep, it was me holding up the bimmers. No need to push it right then. It was the first run of the morning with a wet road and I didn't know where the local LEO's were hanging out. I had behind me Moonshiner, who had only ridden the dragon as a passenger up to that point and Bubba who had never seen the road before.
BTW, one of the bimmer drivers showed up with a popped collar while I was trying to finish breakfast. Who was REALLY inconvienced?
