pedders Drag springs

Just got them installed today, deff one of the best mods. Got rid of the saggy rear end, gave it a nice aggressive look and tremendously reduced wheel hop. Sorry no pics haha. this thread seems pointless im just happy and wanted to post

Oh yea, If everything goes well I'l be at Bristol Motor Speedway's Thunder Valley on the 28th. We'l see how much of a difference the springs make at the track. From what I can tell it'l be a considerable amount.

congrats on the upgrade!

this is something i definately want to do... ive had drag bags for a while now and while they are awesome, i would much rather have something perm that i dont have to inflate. i prefer the feel of the stiffer spring rate even during daily driving.

get us some pics!!!

The springs make such a world of difference. Just with springs it feels like a whole new car in the twisties and on takeoff. I got the pics coming as soon as I get a pretty day, I've been wantin to show off the chrome roh furys I just had mounted as well.

PLEaSE get some pics up! Im suffering from the saggy rear and very poor tread wear on my rear tires. This is one route i was strongly leaning towards.
Did you have to do any other mods to make this work, or did you just install the springs and go?

Here are some pics of mine, Pedders +5/16 drag springs in the rear, stock in the front (soon to be Pedders -3/8 up front). Yeah, I like a little rake. You should at least do shocks at the same time as the springs. The GTO stock shocks are sad. I also have front radius rod bushings, crossmember bushings, and diff insert (Noltec). The bushings don't have to be done unless the stock are bad.

My M/T 275 drag radials might fill up the wheel well a bit more than a normal tire.
