doesnt sound like the rear has any less wheel hop than the GTO. Trap speed o pretty good, but only 13 flat? Sounds pretty good.

i was surprised to see a 13 flat. usually magazine and online tests dont show the car at its fullest potential. Those times lead to believe it is a high 12 sec car, when its bulky looks make it appear to be a mid 13 sec car.
only time will tell, i cant wait to see some real world numbers from the folks that buy em

nice but still wouldnt spend the money, the camaro was the teens car, not it might as well be a vette $$$$$$$ for the nice ones

111MPH trap by a MAG. should mean this thing will go 113MPH in the right hands with some pracice and that could equate to a mid 12 if the 60' is nailed...I'm impressed

yeah gotta take that 1/4 time with a grain of salt. wasnt on a prepped track. i do believe it has 12's in it and that is some decent mph.

dont let BRG see the drifting part,he might get some bad idea's

Didn't GM officially release the time as a 12.9 @ 111?

I think the first thing I would do is get some drag radials and skinnies for that puppy and see how much time I can knock off.

yes heavier cars with less HP and smaller tires are generally faster in a 1/4 mile...

Have you driven the GXP? I have and let me tell you the thing is very fast. id say its right there with our cars. stock for stock it might be a tick quicker.

Have you driven a new camaro? i havnt, but i dont get how you can say the GXP is faster not having driven both? Im not knocking the GXP, but its rated with less HP and its a heavier car than the camaro, i dont get how its going to be faster

Dude so true! Im damned impressed and jealous of that 111 trap. I couldnt hit 109 stock... shit at the track! 13.0 on the asphalt..no VHT or laid down rubber. That thing has high 12s in it easy on stock rubber and hell who knows with some better rubber and makes me need to get heads..cause soon there will be really fast camaros rolling around!

I LOVE the car it looks amazing!!! However the next fast car I will buy.. will be a Vette! A true sports car.

like i said before 10hp is not a big difference. I believe that the camaro will not be as fast as you guys think it will be. take our goats, some people that are stock ran mid 13s other stock ran mid to high 12s. we are almost as heavy as the gxp. I've never been a camaro fan and never will be! PONTIAC FTW!
