Stock suspension with BMR drag bags @ 28 psi, 275 50 r15 Hoosier dot drag radials @ 15 psi, M/H Race skinnies on spare rims @ 38 psi. Dumped the clutch @ 5,500 rpm's (not a good idea with stock clutch) My mods are in sig.

If you do that on slicks you would have low 1.6's and high 1.5's even some mid 1.5's on a good track prep. i used to do it on the stock clutch and a 150 shot had 28,xxx miles on the clutch.
Nice short time man, especially for Drag Radials and the six speed!
What wheels are you running in the rear? Look like Painted Summit Stars? I like the all black look!

Those ET Drags will get you a lot lower than 1.7's. My last pass out with them I cut a 1.531. The pass before that 1.54 and before that was 1.62...... I have many 1.54-1.62 short times with my six speed GTO and these Tires, on 15x9" Bogarts!

Holy crap, my clutch won't even grip hard enough for anything below a 1.85, and then proceeds to lock me out of 4th gear due to overheating
Congrats, that's amazing, and a 12.0 is a spectacular time for a bolt-on GTO.
Thanks, I had the exact same problem on this run it wouldn't let me shift into 4th did you find a solution to this problem? Later in the day when it started to warm up it wouldn't let me shift into 2nd either.. I was thinking of using dot 6 fluid for the clutch.. Opinions??

Thanks, yeah I have no wheel hop at all & I like how I can slightly raise or lower the A$$ of the goat. Great product.
Hoosiers are awesome, i dunno why more people don't run them
I cut 1.5's on stock suspension and 255 hoosier drag radials..it's an A4, but still.

Nice times. My car does this also after 5-6 passes it is very hard to get into fourth and sometimes second. But I definitely need to change out the fluid. And stock clutch ftl.
Car looks Great.. Stock clutch is probably taking the hit on the dump.. With a aftermarket clutch don't be suprised if the radials dont work that well anymore for you. I went 1.55 on MT Radials with a slipping clutch and then put a good clutch in and could not break past 1.6s for months until I switched to a slick..

I just started using the QTPs this year from Hoosier.. Love them so far.. Most people including myself fall for the M/T = God of tire mentality.. Already went 1.53 on them this year

the shifting problems are due to not bleeding clutch each time you go to the track. to reaper: once you get that h/c and n20 your gonna love it, but your clutch won't. i'm on the ls7 and just ran a 1.645 60' with 97mph 1/8mile with 100w shot off the line, no progession and kicks in at 4k, and the hoosier 275x40x17 with dragbgs. set at 16psi and tires set at 22psi, 3940rwt., stock suspension. ohh and i dumped it at 6.1krpm and still bogged ever so slightly.

The drag bags were the 1st and only suspension mod I had on my car for 2 years they work great!!! & Highly recommend them to anyone that runs at the track. great Mod cheap price
I have the same problem as well, when i am racing by the time i get to forth gear is sometimes doesnt want to go in, my clutch engages like a inch off the floor board when racing...but normally is like it should be 2-3 inches off. So you think its a matter of bleeding the clutch before hand...What exactly do i have to do .... ?

That's what I am afraid of. Once I get the car hook up off the line, I think I may bog. But, it will be nice not to slip between 1-2, 2-3, and the 3-4 shift.
BTW, I put up a video on youtube of my 1.66 run. Search Clinkerclint.
Great run to the OP!

I <3 my Hoosiers as well. Great 60 and get ready to do some drivetrain mods lol.
That's what I'm afraid of, OP are you on your stock rear end? I just got M/T drag radials. 265/40/18 on OEM 18s and I'm worried something will break with a hard launch. Does feel good not spinning 1-2,2-3, and 3-4th!!!
Awesome 60 BTW!!
