'05 Powerstroke 6.0

Anyone have any dealings with it? I have been reading that the 6.0 was full of issues but mostly the 03-04 models. I have found an '05 with only 16k miles. It has about 6 months left on the engine warranty from Ford.

Wow, I'm surprised it has that mileage. Usually anything diesel has over 20k every year.

I have on 06 F250 with the 6.0 has about 40,000 miles on it. I bought it new and use it to pull the goat and actually lots of things. Love mine. Had A few small issues and have had the Turbo rebuilt once underwarranty. The early ones had head issues that they would blow gaskets. They did do a fix but you have to watch it from what I am told can still have problems with the egr ports or something like that clogging up and causing problems. The diesel that you get really sucks most of the time so I use a motorcraft additive now and seems to get better milage and better power. Haven't modded this one at all due to having a ford extended warranty to 7 years/ 200,000 miles and check on the warranty on the motor it is longer than you think...
