So I was being spied on....

...while looking at a truck today. Dad and I were at a Ford dealer looking at a used 2005 F350. Long story short it was an 05 and only had 15k miles. But it looked no better than a 75k mile 05 car. After seeing the shape of it, I knew I was going to be way off in what they were asking for and what I was willing to pay.

While my dad and I were waiting in the salesman's office for a price. We talked about everything wrong with it. I also didn't like the color and the paint was not in great shape. It was the worst cosmetically looking 15k mile vehicle I have ever seen that wasn't in an accident. My dad made the statement, "they are gonna have to pay you to take it".

After ten minutes I noticed a light was on the phone. It was the mic button. I have always heard of this ploy, but never actually experienced it. Funny thing, as soon as I turned it off...the guy came back and had a price for me.

I wish we could have caught it earlier. I guess I could have had some fun with the bastards.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's a KR. Most KR's are going for north of 100K.

I can't tell you if this one is a KR. They did have one in the same show room close to it. I can only remember it b/c I saw the logo/badging (something to that effect). I didn't think to take a picture of it b/c it didn't have a "sale" tag that caught my eye.

I'm pretty sure it's a KR. Take a look at the hood pins, different "Shelby" hood, and front "Cobra" emblem compared to a GT500...

if you were at that dealer. my fiancee's father is a pure ford man. He refuses to use that dealer. They have broken things when doing warranty work and then charged him for teh fix.

That is a KR. And they do get some coin. But nothing you couldnt do yourself and then some for a fraction of the markup over the cost of a standard GT500

Fruck if you can afford that you could probably save a bit more and get a ZR1 used or even new.
