I love Corvettes but imho, that was the worst year of the vette. I didn't like how the front was just the nose piece and the rear still had the chrome bumper.

Regardless, have fun with it. Looks to be in great condition. Details on it?

sweet! i just sold a nice '73 early this year, so they have a soft spot in my heart. it's my pick of the C3's. if it had enough seats for my family of four, i would still own it. it belongs to a Tennessee state patrol deputy now.

here is a pic:

and here is the cubscout pinewood derby replica:

I like the 73's. A big block 73 is one of my "gotta have it" Vettes. The side pipes are an ok nostalgic piece but I'd lose the luggage rack, it belongs on a Caprice station wagon.

since we are throwing out criticism, if you leave the vette that color, it had better be damn fast.

I would be careful about that if its your DD I daily drove my 67 Mustang for 9 months it was horrible in the rain because it has a 390 and used to not have a posi. There were days i couldn't get above 20mph. But they are beautiful goats from 68-72. There is nothing quite like driving a 60s muscle car around it is my absolute favorite thing to do. So if I was you I'd defiantly pull the trigger but find one without rust.

you can fit more luggage behind the seat of a C3 than you could fit in the overhead bin on a commercial flight.
