Built iron 408ci
Twin GT42R turbos
th400 FTI 4k Converter
SRA conversion

And some other goodies. We have been 9.0s at 13psi and 9.0s at 22psi. Motor was in bad shape and finally let go earlier in the year. We are in the process of getting it back together.

Nope sticking with the iron block. I just needed new pistons and valves for the motor.

And I run a Drag Radial Mickey Thompson Tire. Never had a slick on the car. I would be willing to bet with slicks I could probably squeak out a little better 60ft/ET.

I guess I better tell about my nitrous set up.. pretty simple though.

I was able to get into the high 9's with a 200 shot, 250 shot got me 9.70's all day long, 300 got me low 9's.

Low budget engine
LS2 403 ci
11.96-1 compression
Dart 225 CNC heads (plus additional port work by me)
JE Flat top pistons
Scat H-beam rods
Eagle crank
FAST 90 intake (ported by me)
LS2 90mm throttle body (ported by me)
Custom fresh air intake down to the driving light
Custom ground big nitrous cam (specs .xxx .xxx)
Stock lifters
Stock rockers
Stock oil pump
Stock timing chain
300 shot Edelbrock direct port by Induction solutions
FJO Progressive controller

Kooks 1 7/8 headers
3" Stainless cat-back

TH400 with Chance 9" 4500 converter

Stock OEM rear (stock posi, stock gears)

Gforce Level 2 Half shafts
Gforce billet inner stubs
Gforce 3.75" Carbon Fiber driveshaft and billet pinion yoke
BMR air bags
Harrop cradle bushings

Front 90/10 shocks from Rocksand racing

Lots and lots of tuning

Street cars?

The track is a 75 mile round trip from my place.
I jump on the interstate, set the cruise at 70.
My car is pretty streatable.

If I just insured the car again I could drive it no problem. My car idles and drives well used to, JUST FINE.

I've only had slicks on my car for 1 trip to the local track. It's usually on drag radials. Doesnt bother me driving on the street with slicks either.
Sure, I trailer it sometimes but not all the time.

When I went to the GTO shootout in Bradenton last year I pulled up to the hotel, unloaded the car and drove about 5 miles or so on slicks to the get together. I thought for sure I was going to get a ticket for slicks, dam cops are thick down there, LOL
