Who else lives in a town where owners don't know how to keep their smurfing yip dogs from jumping all over your car and scratching the smurf out of your doors?
Oh and bastard cats that climb all over your car, scratch the smurf out of it and leave muddy paw prints everywhere. Anyone else experience this on a daily basis?
Are you smurfing kidding me? I live in a college town and have to park on the streets. Ya I'll just take a car cover on and off 10+ times a day and look like a douche bag.
Get smurfed Harpo, if it weren't for the motor city capital of the world, you wouldn't have a goat now would ya?

So you have little dogs jumping on your car that's parked on the street? Why aren't big dogs doing it? Actually, lets back up. Why the smurf are little dogs jumping on your parked car? I've never seen a dog, let alone a small one jump on a parked car unwarranted. I have seen a small, medium and large sized dog jump on a car door as the idiot driver made conversation with the idiot canine owner.

That's what I want to know!! I have had dogs try to jump up on my car while im speaking with someone who has a dog on a lead, but i push the dog away, etc.... I wouldn't think someone with a dog on a lead would let the bastard jump on a car anyways... but, you never know.
Basically I come out today, and see a smurfing medium size paw print/scratches running down the middle of my driver door.
Then, on a daily basis I wake to find muddy paw prints all smurfing over my car and windows.
The neighbors have inside/outdoor cats and the amount of strays running around is insane.

i hate little dogs that don't belong to me. cause i've owned little dogs (west highland terriers) and they were arguably the greatest dogs i ever had. well behaved, well tempered and just all around awesome.
it's these dopey people that buy these dogs pretty much as toys and don't train them at all.
I've walked out to find cat prints all over my car. Also for a period of about two months, I would constantly hear banging while I was inside my house. Birds were literally flying into the side of my car repeatedly.
On a side note, why do people with little dogs feel the need to take them EVERYWHERE? I've seen people walking around Best Buy, Sears, and even Home Depot with their dogs. Is this necessary? I know if I brought my 140 lb. dog in though, they'd have a problem.

THANK YOU!
I guess the women I see do this think it makes them look higher class. No. It makes me want to see the little rat take a crap on your arm.
Seriously, 99% of the people who live in Michigan have to be morons.
Holy ignorance! If I recall correctly, you're from California. Do you see people running around saying that everyone from California is a tree-hugging, homo-loving, coffee drinking, Prius-driving asshole?
Oh... Wait..

To the OP, no, I have never had anyone's dog or cat on my car. And I would strongly recommend against shooting them with a pellet gun. If someone shot my dog with a pellet gun they'd be looking down the business end of my 12 gauge.
Maybe you should find out who the hell is letting their dog climb on your car and yell at them? Novel idea, I know!

Because they can? Apparently taking small dogs inside is acceptable in some establishments. If I could take my lab into a store I sure the hell would and he would be one happy SOB. I got nothing against people that bring their dogs inside a store unless they are serving food.

In all seriousness, is there a product out there that will work on a cat you don't want in your yard but is safe if you have a dog?
That product emits a high pitched sound and can't differentiate between a dog or a unwanted cat.
My girl's dog apparently doesn't bother the cat; it comes in the yard anyways. I was hoping someone here might know of a way to get rid of the cat without bothering the dog.

OP, sounds like you either know which specific dogs are doign this because you talk to their owners while it happens, or it is happening at night. For the former, get a stronger man-hand and don't let it happen. For the latter, use the car cover at night.
Viola - problem solved.

Didn't you also pay some ridiculous amount to take your small yippie dog on a plane for a trip to your parents house?

Sure did. Her damn plane ticket was more than mine. This no longer happens though because the pricks at Northwest raised the price of having our 8 lb dog under our seat from $150 to $350. Flat rate-no way around it. Ridiculous for a 1 hour flight.
