Hello everyone! I have been experimenting lately with a Blue Candy tint on a set of 04-05 Tail Lights. Just finished them and I would like to get some feedback. I started with a light coat over the entire lens. Then I masked off the reverse/turn signal light areas. Shot some more Blue Candy. Clear coated them, wet sanded and buffed. They have a Blue/Purple look to them depending on how much direct sunlight is hitting them. I thought these would look great on Cosmos, IBM, MBM, CGM. QSM and all colors if you like the blue in the reverse/turn signal areas. I think the Candy Blue would look great on a set of VXs. I may have convinced the wife to go for a set of VXs like this. I'd love to see these on an IBM... They came out fantastic.
How does it look with the lights on? (Reverse, turn signals, and brakes)
Thank you! and here you go! The only thing it's bright outside, so you can't really get the full effect. But I am sure at night they will look awesome!

Hmm, I never really fell for the blue lighting trend. Although, the workmanship on those looks excellent! Wish I lived close to you so I could have you tint all my lights.

I held them againts my 98 Sebring Silver Vette and they contrast nicely. MBM and Cosmos would pull it off as well. Pics surely do not do them justice. Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it!

Thank you! I wish as well. Never been to Florida before. I really think these would look best on IBM such as your car, but other colors I'm sure can pull it off.

That looks great, especially as stated, with ibm or cosmos. Also think it would look awesome leaving the clear untinted, either VXs or these, kinda burgundy-like in pic above.
will the amber turn signals with blue on clear have greenish hue at night?

Thanks Doug! I am glad you are happy with your VXs! I am waiting for the sun to go down to take some night shots. I have yet to see what they look like at night. I held up a flashlight to them, but it's not the same as when they are on the car. I finally can see in my Wifes eyes that she is considering this idea. After all, I tint tails, why not have some on our car right? Thanks again as always Doug!

Awesome. I think some VX's with a little yellow candy in them would look so awesome.
You do know those illegal? You cannot have any tailliights, foglights or headlights that are blue or red. Those lights are reserved for emergency vehicles. Even as backup lights that will still get you pulled over.
