...since I know there are a few on here that are constantly looking to "upgrade". Here is part of an email I recieved today from a local dealer. They also have 0% for 60 but I would imagine you lose some of the rebates:

That's why its nice to go in with a loan from another financial institution in your pocket. Just figure out the numbers and compare your price by going with Bank/Credit Union A + rebates - better rate vs GMAC -rebates but better rate.
A dealer (My significant other's father actually) sent out an email similar to this one a couple weeks ago. unfortunately i don't have the cash for a z! (or even a base)

time to get married! wedding present?!
Can you please post up the probability of you getting a Z in a correct mathematical statement?
different places, dealers, emails, forums,(I am at corvette forum as well).
I would be happy with a corvette. scratch that, I would be very happy with a used corvette with low miles but the the only thing that always stops me is that selling the GTO after only 2.5 years would be a bad decission, financially. Maybe float the boat for another year and then look for it.
Otherwise, I would have pulled the trigger long time ago. I wish I was rich enough to keep both teh GTO and a Corvette.

I'd love to find a 2010, one owner (old man?) in about 4 years from now.
You're in luck, every single used car at a dealership I've ever looked at was traded in by an old man who never drove it and always had it serviced at the dealership. They seem to go through cars quickly and have the same taste as I do. I suspect it will be the same for you.

I find that a lot of older women are getting into sports cars then trading them in on a Cadillac after only a few months! ZOMG! Must be a popular trend.
are they saying every one gets gm factory employee pricing?.....
thats pretty good. it happened with vettes for the first time last year... thats why i ordered mine... got it Sept 11. I was out the door at 42k..... no 0 percent financing though.

Because 2009 has been an atrocious year for Vette sales. I believe I read it at Corvetteblogger, but as a whole....all model variants included....only 19,000 Vette's were sold for 2009 model year.
not unless it is an '06 with really high miles. Everyone says they are available for $40k, but no one ever finds one
You can probably score an average mile, well kept 06 for $42-44k though.
You know, as much as I LOVE the Z06, to buy a used one for $42k with probably 30k miles or so, I think I'd prefer to save some money and get a brand new $38k 2009 1LT.
