The pilots in my unit in Germany got in trouble for doing that too. They landed at a McDonalds at the edge of a town...OH-58 scouts and AH-1F Cobra gunships.

In Canada, people are laid back about it. In America, a lot of people would be suing for the noise disturbance and that pilot would have lost his job.
