Looking for new tires

Just looking to get some feedback on tires. Any suggestions? I am leaning toward Nitto 555's. I have had Toyo Proxies 4 and Falkens in the past, I really hate my Falken's.

The NT555's have been a great tire. Have you looked at the new Nitto NT05

Designed for maximum dry traction.

have had the nitto nt555 on my car about 2k miles now and I love them so far. They seem to be better than the BFG's I had on the rear before replacing. Plus I got them mounted, balanced and installed all for $240(2 rear tires).

Gotta chime in for Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. I've ran them for about 2 years, and they're a great tire when warmed up. Dry traction is great, and wet traction is about as good as it gets for performance tires. I've never once had traction control kick on in the rain with these. They really do have to be warmed up though, and once the temperature drops below 65 they start to lose their grip fast.

That being said, my next set of tires will most likely be a set of Nitto NT05's. I've heard nothing but good things about them, so I figure I'll give them a shot.

I appreciate the input and like the NT05's, however I am going with the 555's as I am getting a good deal on them for a local shop. I am looking at $825.00 for all four (275/30/19 and 245/35/19), the whole thing installed and out the door for $880.00....

RE-11's i heard are by far superior on Dry/WET traction if you do not want to run a DR on the street.

I have a set of Nitto Invo's and love them. Night and day as compaired to stock. They are Smooth, Quiet, and plenty of grip with 275's.

Great tire, I guess I got lucky on the price, $880 sounds a bit steep.

I hate my NT555's on the camaro....less power lighter car and they break traction like nothing.

I am biased towards the sumitomo HTRZ III at this point due to them being such a good handling tire and wearing nicely. I might wind up having them on all my cars at this point in time.

I'm biased to the Sumitomo HTR ZIII here too. I've put about 9k on mine with excellent wear characteristics. Dry/wet traction, mileage, noise, etc all seems comparable to OEM potenzas.

For 112 a tire, its a steal!

OEM size for the 18s - 235/40 ZR 18.

Another thousand miles on them in the last month - even in 35 degree weather, they still hold up great!
