I have no video to warm your ears, but can tell you that the sound of my friend's lime-green 440 Plymouth Superbird is just beautiful.
This valuable car is way off the fugly chart; somewhere in space.

In the OPs defense, the new M3 V8 DOES sound REALLY sweet. a V8 engine at 8300 RPM is just AWESOME. I saw a video once of a guy driving an E92 through the desert and if you closed your eyes, you would SWEAR it was a Sprint Cup car lapping watkins glen or infineon.
That said, I don't know if it's my favorite. I'd have to say my absolute favorite would be an idling 427 side oiler in a cobra. That was simply the EPITOME of badass. LS, Ford Modular and new Hemi engines can sound REALLY nice with the right exhaust, but I just don't think they have the same presence.

I keep this one in my favorites. It is the cam I am gonna go with, not based on sound alone.

This car sounds almost EXACTLY like my previous '05 H/C/I CGM. Even with my current cammed, LT's, spintech, maggie setup, it doesn't sound close. I really do miss the sound of that CGM sometimes.
(RIP to the owner of this car btw)

My favorite V8 sound is my sweet Maybellene, nothing like a twin turbo growl with no mufflers/resonator/cats....
Maybellene gets very angry...
