That is to high priced for jackets. I think that you need quotes on other materials besides leather jackets especially if they can not get all the logo information on the jacket as you want it.
Am I the only one in favor of not having an animal on the jacket?
In my opinion, the best look would be a simple "Dickies" style jacket, with just the NCG logo on back, left chest, and maybe the persons name on the right... but that's just me.

I'm more about the NCG logo, than the GTO/Tiger specific stuff (for the obvious reason). I'd buy one with an animal, but I'd prefer something without.

Sounds classic to me.
I think having some continuity between member's jackets is good (like the large rear logo?), but having each person mix-and-match what they want (jacket type, embroidery, etc.) could allow more people to be happy with their purchase than an 'everyone the same' style that some people do not like (or buy). How would having jackets done in different ways effect the embroidery prices?
Thank you to everyone for their suggestions, feedback and honest feelings on this. As I said, this is YOUR club jacket, make it what you want by voicing your opinion in this thread!
To be clear, these jackets were voted by the club to be club specific. So, just like the quarterly meeting coming up, if you are not a club member or pending club member but you want a club jacket, there is still time to petition the club for membership. For anyone unclear on how to do that, please PM myself or any other club officer. Thanks!
OK, now back to the jackets. I spoke with the shop today and it sounded like they would try to work with us on a good price if we could narrow it down to just 2 jacket styles. Do you guys think that is possible?
Here is what I see as the most popular so far:
1) Dickie's style work jacket
2) Letterman style jacket
3) A traditional style windbreaker jacket
4) Some sort of racing or motorsports type of jacket
If there is any way that we can agree to trim that down to no more than 2 styles, it would help save us money on these.
One more thing, everyone needs to understand what we are asking for/getting here before they say that the price is too high. The NCG logo on the back of the jackets will be at least 12 inches across. This is not a patch, it will be embroidered into the jacket. That is an extremely large logo to embroider and the stitch count will be very high. The cost just to set that up will be in the hundreds alone. Each back logo will be about $75 and that does not count the front logo or the cost of the jacket. I understand that this is expensive and it may not be for everyone. If it's not for you, I am sorry but please don't feel the need to voice that in this thread. Thank you.

That's the one that I'd like. I think a letterman jacket would look awesome, but I know I wouldn't wear it nearly as much (so wouldn't want to spend the extra money).
So if someone wanted to get the logo embroidered on something else, how much would it be for a 'one-off' item? Thinking a small logo on the front of a polo shirt.

I don't think the small logo will cost that much, Todd. The thread count won't be all that high. They also have the design set up already from the run of hats. I will certainly ask for you.
I'm with popular vote although I'm not 100% convinced that I'm going to buy one. I definitely want to see the jackets and try them on before I commit. I have long arms and sometimes XL's are too baggy or have too short of arms for me. For $100+ I expect a near perfect fit.
