Ran into a red ls1 GTO in Kittanning, PA on 422 yesterday. Had ls1gto on the side of it, and I've been hinkering to join this site, even though I don't own a GTO. lol. but I do have an lsx! Maybe next time I'll run into you in my camaro, instead of my truck, and I'll give you a better run for your money. . I was in the dodge 3500 cummins btw.
p.s.: get the fat people out of your car, your exhaust was scraping on some bumps
I believe it's a friend of a friend's brother... don't recall though... not too many gto's/lsx's up this way. lol.
tried getting a picture, but I was too busy watching my exhaust temps go over 1400*. lol. and my girlfriend didn't want to shift my stick. ftl. couldn't do everything.

was def. an ls1.... no hood scoops (and i doubt anyone around here has the rare like 50 ls2 gto's that came with no hood scoops), single exhaust pipe out the back, no black trim on the bottom of the back bumper, didn't completely wax me. Even though it did go faster than SK360's cammed ls2 gto!!
I believe it would be the guy in Templeton, the kid I know who I believe is the kid's brother, lives there.
