So, today was insane. Terry, my father and I stayed from about 10:30am till about 4:15pm. What a great day of racing. Weather was gorgeous and was a t-shirt and jeans kind of day.

A LOT of wrecks today, though. Felt really terrible for the guys who were wrecking their cars. Bartunek's pro-mod (gorgeous car) was in pieces after his far end wreck. Looked really terrible and could've been a fatal accident, but he got out of the car under his own power. Some other less terrible wrecks that were still bad, though.

The 10.5 radial class is just insane. Mid 6 second cars on small drag radials? Dudes are straight up nuts.

Me and few friends stayed till around 6. We were in the grandstands near the starting line and witness the most violent nitrous explosion I EVER SEEN! I couldn't believe no people were injured from it! My chest still hurts! Dumbass with the fire extingusher was spraying the fire right at the driver!

What carnage today!

This was the most insane accident I've ever seen. I was there Saturday and saw a lot of awesome racing, fast cars, and close calls. Definitely something I hope to attend next year.

That nitrous explosion was INSANE.

The Bartunek crash at the top end was just ridiculous as well. I can't believe he wasn't killed or at least hurt. He was so lucky to walk away like that.

I know! I saw him run 6.12@214 and was like damn that's hauling! There wasn't much left of the car on the bucketloader.

What a weekend it was Melissa & I both got to work behind the seens for the shakedown, had VIP wrist bands, golf cart, acces to the tower to watch racing meet all the head guys of raceway park (owners,VP and so on) could not have asked for a better b-day weekend,

We where even part of the open cerimonies when all the awards where given out, Melissa even part got to work side by side with Eddie Krawiec to hand out the thropies & Jackets to all 6 second club members.

Drag radial, outlaw 10.5, Nitrous promod, records where all broken

There was a lot of wrecks this weekend but these guys never run in negative D/A and where trying to take advange of it. It was nice to see that no one got seriously hurt in any of the mishaps.

It was nice to see Brian & Nat on Saturday And the 3 Rush hours on Sunday LOL!!!

I have over 200 pics i will post a few when i get them all uploaded

Here is Melissa, Eddie Krawiec, Mustang Mike & Al Tucci

Me, Jr & Terry had a great time hanging with you and Melissa.

What a beautiful day for racing.

The only down side - was getting home to watch the Giants lose another one - I am starting to hate that team.

Hah - but at least we beat Oakland!

You guys didn't do to good either Sunday. Damn Cowboys (hate them worse then the Eagles)!

My next door neighbor who is a die hard Phillies & Eagles fan hasn't been seen for 7 days. We are thinking of calling in a rescue squad - we knew he was hold up with a freshly stocked bar and is probably in an an alcoholic comma right now

Yeah - Giants suck big time this year - time to move onto Hockey - go Wings!

Now get Walt back to work on my rear - it's sad looking at that poor Black car with BFG All Seasons on her.

Steve

P.s. Bring back some hardware from South Carolina.
