I'm thinking of switching to decaf

Your thoughts?

As I read the post, I am drinking a latte with a touch of chocolate. It has two shots of espresso, made from some Kenyan AA beans that I roasted last night. The thought of drinking decaf makes as much as non alcoholic beer.

I quit drinking coffee all together about 5 years ago. It's not good for people with anxiety that is for sure. If I have say a double shot latte now I will be worse then Beavis doing Cornholio.

What's the point of decaf? Just stop drinking coffee.

Damn, maybe I really should quit! I curse like a...no...worse than a sailor.

I swear though, it is like the last bag of beans I opened has 2x the amount of caffeine than normal.

I don't know if you guys have noticed or not, but I've had little tolerance for dumasses lately.

You know where I can score some?

If my doctor makes me give up caffeine, I'll probably just have to shoot myself. I tried giving it up a few months ago...that lasted just a couple days.

Don't.

Coffee saves your day.

It saves mine. My first class in the morning - Alexander the Great and Greek and Roman mythology right after. Without coffee I have three hours of sleeping.

Caffeine is legal cocaine- I used to drink this stuff on a daily basis and before any activity that required effort- 64oz on exam day = to me freaking out the professor/student when I walked out 20-40 minutes into an exam.

It messed me up later though since I can hardly tolerate it now. But it's much easier to sleep now and I actually feel rested when I wake up.

I still have a few ounces of caffeinated beverage once every few months, but not often and it is entirely unnecessary. The only thing it really does well is sharpen your reflexes.

I've never had a cup in my life so I wouldn't know what to tell ya. Caffeine has no noticeable effect on me and water is free at work.

I wouldn't drink the swill at work if it was free. Edit: Wait...it IS free. I make my own and take it in.

I do make the first pot of their stuff for them though. I'm usually the first one in the door.

They have Ronco in packets with an automatic maker. Ew.

The big question is, does Mr. Black take cream & sugar?

I drink mine black...cream and sugar ruins it for me except for the double grande mocha with two extra shots of expresso I get every 3-4 months.
