just like those douchebag lawyers in sanfran that adopted a pair a pitbulls from a felon client and the dogs killed a neighbor. the animals are not the problem, it is almost always stupid and inconsiderate owners. if someone's animal attacked my family, they are going to get put down with their pet.
A few years ago my then ~5yr old cousin got her arm torn up by a small chimp. Later that day the chimp was shot several times. Its obviously nothing like this lady's experience, but the scars are enough to make me hate those little assholes
Her face looks like lower intestines and the one hand she has remaining has about 2 fingers left on it. My God ... I agree with VGT. I'm too bitch to do it tho, so I'd have to get someone to slip me some morphine in grossly excessive amounts ... or something of the like.

so, apparently the **** that owned the monkey (and fed it xanax and wine) is trying to find a way to weasel out of getting sued over this.

there's a reason you don't see mature male primates anywhere but in a goddamn cage people! because the smurfers just become violent once they become pubescent. and they stay that way. animals for use in movies or other things are retired before that.
i don't understand why the smurf people need to have wild animals living in their house with no regard for what they are or what they are capable of. i guess nobody really does have an idea what a 200lb chimp is capable of...well...now you do. the words retard strength come to mind. no human on earth would have been able to overpower that thing.
What is it with some peoples' fascination with having pets like this? "Oh look at me, I have an exotic pet!!" I find it hard to sympathize peoples' stupidity.
The chimp was not her pet, nor was she the owner of it.

I'm aware of that, and I'm sure most that posted are aware of that. The owner brought this tragedy onto this woman because of her selfish need to have a dangerous pet. Its a damn shame that this isn't what happened to the owner, but to a friend. I hope the owner feels the pain in her heart for the rest of her life for what she brought onto this woman. I have sympathy for those that are victims of tragedy not by their own hands, and I definitely don't have sympathy for those that are victims of tragedy out of their own stupidity.
