lol, you guys always say a car isn't worth it and yet every stockish low mile GTO is worth 20K+
Anyways, the guy is throwing in a set of drag wheels w/ unused tires and SCT X3 tuner.
BTW, I could get a low mile stock Cobra for 19-20 but then I would dump 5K plus into to get it to the same level as this car...so it ends up a wash...but keep the opinions flowing...I'll marinade on it.

A stockish low mile 06 GTO - MIGHT be worth 20. This car's worth maybe 22 - its a great car, but it ain't worth 26.
The rarity of the car, along with the quality (and extensiveness) of the mod list makes this car EASILY worth that. And anyone who doesn't agree, probably should go tell several of the guys selling their modded GTOs in the FS section that their cars aren't "worth it" then either.

Needless to say, the LS1GTO.com administration keeps me on a tight leash.

As a person that also travels within the modular Mustang crowd. The price sounds well within what I would expect as an asking price.
The Cobras still command a pretty good price. By comparison, I know of an 07 S197 with a forged stroker and twin turbos making over 700whp on pump gas. All the suspension goodies and supporting modifications.
His car sold for 23k. Just to give you a hint of what alternatives exist if it's a boosted Mustang with gobs of potential you crave.
The only thing that concerns me a bit about that car is that he is still running the IRS. They just don't hold up very well with that kind of power. This tells me it may indeed have been kept off the track and driven rationally. Just a theory, not a declaration.
Nice looking Cobra. Good luck. PM me if you need help with any questions.

What kind of 1/4 times would that car run pushing 600/630rwhp?
That car is sick. I'd pay $20k for it but $25k is C6 territory.
I'm running 10's with that kind of power in my 06 GT. The Cobra in this post has the power, but I don't know that IRS would allow you to get the most out of it at the track.
I prefer IRS over SRA....I've bounced around plenty of curves due to bumps in a road that an SRA could not handle.
That's fine, but what I am telling you is that there is a good reason modified Cobras run SRA's. I wasn't pointing it out as a matter of preference, but rather as something to consider before you buy it.
Typically, it's because the IRS goes boom at some point around those power levels. I would be very leary of that IRS living to tell the tale of 5k rpm launches.
