Quadman and myself will be handling this project.
Block is at the machine shop and these parts will be going there as well.
The entire assembly including the flywheel and clutch assembly will be balanced.

I know that feeling... We remodeled our house and that is a big part of the reason my car is not back together yet!
Looks great man...
I have a set of boxed up Diamond pistons awaiting install also. They certainly make a nice piece!

Can't wait to see this thing finished Matt. How much are you hoping to get out of it? Oh and even though the procharger is gone I hope your still getting blown for those cherry cabinets and granite counter tops.... :stickpoke for the wife

. gon with 243 heads first and documenting changes/numbers
(head studs). gunna be fuuuuuuuuuuuun.
ps: dont forget to index the crank for that extra little bitty hp.

will try to get lots of pics. it would be nice to get some pics at the machine shop of the machine work as it's being done. pretty hard to do, though.

I dropped all engine parts of at the machine shop.
Also dropped of the pressure plate, clutch and flywheel.
The entire rotating assembly will be balanced.
My Diamond Pistons are getting sent out to Calico Coatings.
CT-3 Dry Film Lubricating Coating will be going on the skirts.
CT-2 Thermal Barrier Coating will be going on the tops.
Calico coated main and rods bearing will be ordered as well

What throttle body are you using with the FAST 102? Are you going back to throttle cable or staying with drive by wire?

Going to use the OEM 90mm Drive by Wire for now.
I do see there are some 102mm Drive By Wire Units for sale now.
They are quite pricey though...

Looks like a similar build to what I just finished...I ported mine to 427 though. You'll love it. Some nice looking parts.

Sweet build matt, but a part of me is confused why you just didnt keep the trickflow heads and that setup before? I know this has more power but is 55whp really worth itt
??
