€763 is a good deal! Our 42" LG 1080p plasmas were €549 for one and €499 for the other. I imagine it displays a price in $ for those of you with US IP addresses. It roughly converts to $1,140. Is that about right?
Yup, $1099. I've been keeping an eye on the S14 line that Costco/Sams Club/BJ's carry. Just this week theirs went on sale for $1299 (Originally $1499). The S1 line is a step up from the S14 and till Wednesday $200 cheaper. Picking this one up tomorrow to replace the 42" in the living room.
Now all I gotta do is blow the back wall of my house out, set the sofa on the porch, and look though my dining room into the den to watch this monstah.

Dude....totally worth it!
I bought my TH50PZ700U 50" 1080p Panasonic plasma 3 years ago (their first 1080p plasmas). I got an employee discount PLUS a $1,000 rebate from Panasonic and still paid over $1,700. Stunning what a little over a grand gets you now days.

Sheesh, my old ass 57" TV is in a room that's not very big (30x40 I believe) and I'm thinking that thing's too small now....
Vette: "Go ahead."
GTO: "Hi!"
Vette: "No, you go ahead."
GTO: "I like your car"
Vette: "For Christsake, GO!"
GTO: "We both have LSx engines...we're like twinkies"
Vette: "Is this idiot going to go or what...GOOO!"
GTO: "Hi again"
Vette: "AHHHHH!!! GOOO!!"
GTO: "This guy sure is friendly"
Vette: "SMURFING GO ALREADY!!!"

Pay cash and they knock 10% off...or 18 months @ ZERO on your SEARS card...
Me thinks I'll ride over tomorrow and see if they actually have any.
You have to put it on the sears card to get the 10%....You choose between the 10% and 18 months.
hmmm lets see 10% for about 110 less bucks and 200% interest for eternity or no interest for 18 months.......at about 50 by bucks per month.....decisions decisions...

If you have the money then just put it on the card for the 10% and pay it right off.

No 54's on the eastern seaboard... I decided on the 50 inch brother of that tv except 720P for 700 (including the 10%)....It had good ratings as well. They also have a 50 inch 720p samsung for 899...it looked nice too. Best Buy had the 50 inch Pani that I bought for 879..
I might have done a little better later this week on but no crowds is worth 50 bucks...Also as an fyi Sears now has 60 days money back on electronics..

If you miss the sale, Walmart's got a 50" Plasma for $748 all the time.
I just finished getting it all set-up. After some much needed calibration, it now looks awesome. The only downside is that I forgot that all new TV's no longer have RCA audio outputs. My current receiver doesn't have a digital audio input, so I'm now screwed and need to go buy a new receiver. If the RCA inputs were digital I could get a converter from monoprice, but I'm SOL.
I knew the good price was going to bite me in the butt at some point, but I'm due for an audio upgrade anyway.

What are you sources? Just run the analog audio directly from your cable box/dvd player/etc. straight to your receiver.
