harmonic balancer install tool?

Where can I buy a balancer install tool? There used to be a guy on ls1tech that was making/selling them, but he seems to be out of the game.

What are my other options?

Thanks,
Doug

Doric got one from him about 6 months ago. Otherwise, go out and find a longer bolt and some washers. I got a bolt and washers at the local NAPA.

I would like to buy the correct tool. I don't want to risk damage to the crank threads.

piece of threaded rod, some washers and some nuts will make you a decent tool...

IMHO i'd stay away from the bolt/and washers method, just broke a grade 8 bolt off in my crank Sunday night. Hello new short block!

Looks like 618HAWK hasn't been on 'Tech since September. Not sure why...?

I'd be wiling to rent mine also, although Doric's will be less to ship I would imagine since you are in OK.

I use the Moroso style one with a bunch of different thread adapters that are not shown on the site...

There's also this one, just like the ATI unit.
